Youth Ministries at SMMA
Amplified...Sundays after the 11:30 am Mass in the Youth Room
Amplified is a place for high school teens to discover ways that they can amplify their faith in the world today.
Girl's Group...4th Wednesday of the Month; 7-8 pm in the Youth Room
Girl's Group gives young high school women the opportunity to gather and support each other in their faith. This group is led by Angie Schmidt who can be reached at angela.schmidt@campus.fontbonne.edu
Guy's Group...3rd Thursday of the Month; 7-8:15 in the Youth Room
Guy's Group is for young high school men who want to gather together so that they can support each other in their faith. This group is led by Robby Francis who can be contacted at smmayouthministry@gmail.com
3rd Sunday of the month...11:30 am Youth Mass at SMMA Church
This Mass is aimed towards bringing teens into a deeper experience of the Eucharist. The music at this Mass has a more contemporary twist to it and teens are encouraged to participate by serving as lectors, ushers, and greeters. Please contact Robby if you are interested in serving in one of these roles.
Events to Mark on Your Calendar
Project Life June 16-21st $180
A week long service event held in Old Mines, MO. Teens will serve those in the local community of Old Mines, have opportunities to meet others and grow in their faith. This event is open to those entering and already in high school. If interested, download the registration form below and turn in along with your $50 deposit.
Luke 18 July 11-13th
Luke 18 is a retreat for graduating 8th graders that is lead by high school students. Any high school student interested in leading or 8th grader interested in attending can download the forms below.
