"Engraved Brick Walkway"

A group of parishioners have launched a campaign for an Engraved Brick Walkway.

A brick walkway will be constructed from the church sidewalk to the circle drive
adjacent to the flag pole and immediately across from the entrance to the School/Parish
Office.

You are probably familiar with such projects. Most of them have "fund raising" as their
main goal. However, that is not our primary focus. Our engraved walkway is meant to primarily celebrate the strong faith of our parishioners over the years. It is an expression of gratitude to the families and individuals of our parish who so willingly offer their time, talent & treasure for the honor and glory of God and the good of God's people.

In the center of the walkway will be a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in honor of our parish patron, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. It will serve as a testimonial to the loving service our parish has offered to our local community.

Everyone will have the opportunity to have their name, family's name, a deceased loved one, etc. engraved on the bricks. To insure that everyone would be able to participate or that the cost would not eliminate someone, we are suggesting $125 as the cost of an engraved brick. If you judge that to be a strain on your budget, give whatever you can. For those who can afford a bit more, we ask you to be as generous as you can. Again, the goal is to have everyone participate in this wonderful tribute to the great spirit of our parish. Any additional donated funds for this project will be applied to our Parish debt.


We hope every family will participate in this project to our parish patron and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
